Welcome to our site and the world of organic Alaskan fresh-roasted coffee. The mist and winds off the Matanuska River, just below our home and roastery, lend a sweetness and flavor to our beans that we feel is unmatched. We're biased, of course, but check our roasts out for yourself! Our next delivery will be Friday, the 5th of July, as Pam and I are leaving on a short trip directly after that delivery. Thanks for your patience and please let us know of any concerns you have!
From the Oromia Farmers’ Cooperative Union Sidamo region, these naturally dried (in the cherry) beans are turned on raised beds to ensure uniform quality and air circulation. The Union pays premiums from coffee sales directly to farmers, provides banking services, financing for pre-harvest and equipment, supports organic programs and generally helps the farmers export into the Specialty coffee market (such as Gale Force Coffee Roasters!)
Profile: Purple fruits and berries, floral, green tea, clean and smooth, moving into cocoa, carob and dried fruits, winey and oats in the darker roasts.
All Gale Force Coffees are fairly traded and organically grown.
